Role: Online event coordinator/livestream director

Deliverables: Create an online product launch for Ozobot Classroom that complements their in-person launch at the International Society for Technology in Education Conference in Philadelphia.

The Outcome: 52,973 people reached by the livestream, 565 total engagement on livestreams, 41% increase in Ozobot web traffic vs. previous year’s launch, 42% increase in conversion value vs.  previous year’s launch, 5.53% increase in total conversions vs. previous year’s launch.

The Challenge

Ozobot (Evollve Inc.) innovates STEAM education tools for the classroom and home. As the company was launching its new platform “Ozobot Classroom” it wanted to create an online launch that would extend its reach to customers both at the International Society for Technology in Education Conference (ISTE) and those in their broader online community. We needed to create an event that virtualized the in-person conference booth to promote this new platform and drive conversion for current and the future platform launch. We would also be managing this livestream via our studio in San Diego, CA with live content provided from Redondo Beach, CA and Philadelphia, PA. 

Our Approach

We met with the Ozobot’s International Society for Technology in Education Conference team to discuss the product launch, the program set-up over the three days at their booth, and various design elements for the launch. Once we understood the in-person launch, we worked with a team of designers at Ozobot to ensure overlays, titling, and elements for the livestream matched Ozobot’s signature branding. We trained Ozobot staff on our remote equipment and then rented it to be used at the convention booth in PA. The simulcast broadcast on Amazon, Facebook, and YouTube was conducted over 4 days. On the first day, the broadcast was done via our studio in San Diego with live content from their HQ in Redondo, CA and the other three days the broadcasts were done from the convention in Philadelphia, PA.

The Impact

During the course of the simulcast on Amazon, Facebook, and YouTube, we reached 52,973 people. The website traffic increased 41% compared to previous year’s launch and the conversion value increased 42% compared to previous year’s launch. Overall traffic was reported to be up at the conference booth as well. Not only did we assist in the launch of the new product but brought Ozobot to new Amazon Live Creator platform. This program also stimulated growth in our digital advertising funnel.
